Josh Gerry

Josh has spent 35 years in business, working with some of the largest institutions on Wall Street and helping advisors and the families they serve build something that lasts.

Before co-founding Valla Wealth, he was Co-Founder and CEO of VestGen Wealth Partners and CEO of PWA, where he worked alongside talented teams to create succession solutions for advisors and their clients.

Along the way, Josh saw gaps that families kept running into: advice that wasn’t tied to their real goals, portfolios that left them exposed when markets fell, and fees that got paid whether they were moving forward or not. Valla was built to close those gaps.

It is an independent, employee-owned firm with goals-based planning, a focus on protecting the downside, and fees that are earned only when clients reach new highs.

Outside the office, Josh is a former college national champion athlete and an elder and teacher at Wheaton Bible Church. Most importantly, he is husband to Cindy, father of five and grandfather of three.
