We will not Sell
Owned by the people you meet. Built to stay that way.
What independent means here
Owned by the people you meet. And only them.
Valla is owned entirely by the people who work here, and we are committed to keeping it that way. There is no one above the person across the table and no one behind them. When we tell you what we think, it is our own judgment, offered on our own account.
Owned here
Valla is owned by the people who serve you. Every owner works here, and every person who works here can own it.
Set of people to answer to
Our clients. Your advisory fee funds the people and the work.
Employee-owned
Not a phase on the way to something else. It is the design and a commitment reflected in how the firm is governed.
To read
Who owns Valla and what protects you if that ever changed are set out before you sign anything.
“Independent” gets used loosely. Here it means one plain thing: the people with a say in how Valla treats you are the people who treat you.
Why we built it this way
The simplest structure we could find.
Between us, we have spent decades in wealth management, in a number of seats, at firms of every size. We have watched what works for clients and what quietly gets in the way.
When we built Valla, we asked what ownership structure would let the advisor’s interests and the client’s interests stay close. Our answer was simple: the people who serve you own the firm, and they remain committed to employee ownership.
Fierce about it, on purpose
Employee ownership is not a phase on the way to something bigger. We chose this structure because the freedom to do right by a client without asking someone else’s permission matters to us.
Small enough to know you
Every household at Valla is served by people who own the firm. Knowing your family and your priorities is not a service tier; it is how a firm this shape works.
Big enough to do it well
We use established custodians, research, technology and institutional investment tools. The decisions stay with the people you meet.
One question
“Who owns your firm? ”
It is a fair question to ask anyone who manages your money, and a good firm should be glad to answer it. We think the answer should fit in one sentence and tell you who has a say in how you are treated.
Valla is owned by the people who work here, and we are committed to keeping it entirely employee-owned. If that ever changed, you would hear from us first, in writing, and you would be free to go under the terms of your agreement. What this makes possible for you
What independence buys you.
Ownership is the structure. These are the things it lets us do and keep doing for you.
- 01
Advice with one agenda.
Some of what we recommend is built in-house and some is not. Either way, we explain what it is, how it is priced and why we believe it belongs in your plan.
- 02
The people you meet are the people you keep.
The people who build and oversee your plan are owners of the firm. Succession is planned from inside the firm and introduced before it is needed.
- 03
A fee that funds the work.
Your advisory fee pays for the people who serve you and the tools they use.
- 04
Growth one household at a time.
We grow by earning new clients and keeping the ones we have.
- 05
Succession from the inside.
When one of us eventually steps back, the written plan is for people you already know to carry on.
- 06
A commitment you can hold us to.
Our commitment to remain employee-owned is reflected in how Valla is governed. If ownership ever changed, the notice and termination rights in your agreement would apply.

Questions clients ask
Fair questions. Straight answers.
What does employee-owned actually mean here?+
Every owner of Valla Wealth works in the business, and no one who does not work here owns any part of it. Advisory services are provided through The Invictus Collective, an SEC-registered investment adviser owned by its principals. Both relationships are described in Form ADV and your advisory agreement.
Will it stay that way?+
Remaining employee-owned is a commitment, not merely a description of today. It is reflected in how the firm is governed, and your agreement describes what happens and what rights you have if ownership changes.
Do you use your own products?+
Some investment solutions we recommend are designed or structured by The Invictus Collective or its affiliates. We explain when that is the case, how the solution is priced, the related compensation and conflicts, and why we believe it is appropriate. The details are in Form ADV and your advisory agreement.
Isn’t a bigger firm safer?+
Client assets are held by the qualified custodian identified in your agreement, not by Valla. Our role is to know you, advise you and use the research, technology and investment tools needed to serve your plan.
What if one of you retires?+
Valla maintains a succession plan intended to keep continuity inside the firm. We will explain that plan and introduce the people involved before a transition is needed.
Why should I believe you?+
You should not have to rely on a slogan. Current ownership, conflicts, fees and your rights are described in the governing disclosures and agreements you receive before becoming a client.
Valla
100% independent. 100% employee-owned.
You chose a person. The people you meet own the firm and intend to keep it that way. If that ever changed, you would receive written notice and could exercise the rights in your agreement.
