VIIHaven Alt

Valla Haven 7 · VII. Alt

Diversifiers for disorderly markets.

Alt seeks return sources outside traditional stock and bond exposure. It can include private credit and offerings, gold, cryptocurrency, and option overlays selected for a diversifying or chaos-hedging role.

What Valla Haven Alt can hold

Alt has no payoff graph because it is not a structured note and has no contractual maturity formula. Its value follows its underlying investments, whose risks, liquidity, and correlations can change.

How this model is defined

Time horizon

No fixed product term. Holding periods and liquidity depend on the underlying investments.

Objective

Seek diversifying return sources that may behave differently from traditional markets, particularly during disorderly periods.

How it is built

A flexible mix that may include private credit and private offerings, gold, cryptocurrency, and option overlays. The simulator uses a simplified gold/bitcoin proxy; it does not represent a promised allocation.

What you accept

Potential illiquidity, difficult valuation, substantial volatility, loss of principal, manager and counterparty risk, and periods when alternatives fail to diversify public markets.

Common questions

Why doesn’t Alt have a payoff graph?

Alt is not a structured note and has no contractual index payoff or maturity formula. Its value follows its underlying holdings.

How is Alt modeled?

The simulator uses GLD alone before 2018. Beginning in 2018, it uses 50% GLD and 50% bitcoin, rebalanced annually. Bitcoin is intentionally excluded before 2018, and actual Alt holdings may differ materially.
