The shape of Haven Legacy

Every Haven model changes the relationship between what the market does and what you experience. Reading left to right: how the model is designed to behave when markets fall, and what it gives up when they rise.

How this model is defined

Time horizon

Five-year product term.

Objective

Protect against the first 50% of an SPXFP decline at maturity while participating in 200% of positive performance.

How it is built

A five-year market-linked note tied to SPXFP, the S&P 500 futures index, with the protection and participation written into the term sheet.

What you accept

Losses beyond the 50% protected range, issuer credit risk, limited liquidity before maturity, and the fact that SPXFP can differ materially from the cash S&P 500.

Common questions

What happens if SPXFP falls more than 50%?

The hard protection covers the first 50% of the decline at maturity. Losses beyond that protected range reduce principal according to the note’s formula.

Is SPXFP the same as the S&P 500?

No. SPXFP is a futures-based S&P 500 index with a financing component. Its return can differ from the familiar cash index, especially when short-term interest rates are high.
